The Latin American Association of Rhizobiology (ALAR) invites you to the XXV Latin American Rhizobiology Meeting (XXV RELAR) and I National Congress on Plant Growth Promoting Microorganisms (MIPCV), which will take place at Piriápolis, Maldonado, Uruguay, from September 4-9, 2011. 

This meeting intends to provide a place for exchanging knowledge, experiences and scientific results in a deep reflexive space aiming the discussion and update of basic and applied results on plant growth promoting microorganisms.

The program is based on 7 thematic areas (see below) with the participation of invited lecturers and oral presentations of selected abstracts. There will be wide room for poster presentations grouped in thematic areas.

It will also take place the annual coordination meeting of the Red BIOFAG, a Workshop on plant growth promoting microorganisms financed by the Red and the III Uruguayan Workshop on Microbial Agents for Biological Control (III AMCB workshop)

It is confirmed the 5th edition of BIAGRO “Bernardo Leicach” awards for the first and second prizes on basic and applied research works, with the amount of US$ 2000 and US$1500 respectively, according to the selection performed by a specially designed jury.
